L.A.'s Bushels is dedicated to empowering nursing and pre-nursing students to succeed in their programs. Our journey began in March of 2024 as an online apparel and gear store for nurses and nursing students. Over time, we have transitioned our focus to providing top-notch mentoring, coaching, and review sessions tailored to the unique needs of nursing students and mental health and wellness courses for nurses and nursing students. Our comprehensive approach includes mentoring, tutoring, and coaching, complemented by access to an extensive digital resource library, engaging podcasts, and a range of apparel and gear.
Meet Your Guide
Hey! I'm Maya, an Intensive Care Registered Nurse. Born and raised in Louisiana, I first chose Nursing as my career path when I was in middle school. Going through my college years, I noticed that a lot of people chose nursing as their career but many struggled getting through the program. After I graduated from my nursing program and passed my NCLEX exam (on the first try, might I add), I made it my mission to help other nursing students and pre-nursing students succeed in their nursing education. I'm also passionate about mental health and wellness, formulating a program specializing in promoting mental health and self-care techniques for nursing students and practicing nurses. I've created several programs and services designed to help nursing students and nurses succeed in their careers and enhance their mental well-being.
